A GREAT fireplace !! Get THIS one !! This fireplace is OUTSTANDING!! A truly First-class product. It's well worth the money. It even comes with a remote control unit, which I don't think was mentioned in the advertisement. The other so-called "fireplaces" shown are very inferior to this one. The Bionaire is the ONLY way to go! Bionic fireplace space heater Even though it doesn't look like a tradtional fireplace, I still like it. It fits just about anywhere without taking up a lot of space. I don't like that it doesn't have life like flames; it's just a glowing, moving background. I bought it mainly because it has a REMOTE CONTROL!!! That is a wonderful feature! It has three stages of glowing brightness, which is great. I don't like the sound that is supposed to be crackling wood, but when I lower the sound, it sounds better and more like a crackling fireplace. It's easy enough to carry up to the bedroom, den, basement, wherever you want to put it. Just plug it into any outlet; but because it's 1500 wats,you mustn't have anything else plugged into the same socket outlet. I would recommend it to anyone. I never write reviews, so you know I must like this product. Enjoy! Absolutely awesome! I saw this product in Bed, Bath and Beyond, and fell in love with it instantly. After bringing it home, I loved it even more. The heat is awesome...I have to keep it at the lowest setting because of the intense heat it throws at a higher setting. It's just amazing. I keep the "crackling" sound at the lowest, and it is such a soothing sound. My husband fell asleep on the couch about 15 minutes after it was plugged in and turned on. It looks beautiful and heats fantastic...what more could you want from an electric heater?? I love it, and would recommend it to anyone!
