Not a quality product, would not recommend.1
I received this heater only to find that the connection of the power cord to the actual heating element is faulty. The cord must be bent in a very precise way for the heater to even turn on, otherwise it just flashes on and off very quickly (producing no heating effect) or just doesn't turn on at all. Additionally, the temperature controls are extremely bad, it is really either always on or barely on at all. The quality of the workmanship used to make this product is obviously not very good.

Worked Great Until...1
I heard a bubbly noise coming from the fish tank. I walked over and looked to see what it was and the heater had water in it. It then proceeded to explode in the fish tank. Thank You Hagen for trying to assassinate my turtles... They evaded your execution attempts once again..

I Unplugged it right as it was bursting so i dont know what kind of damage it would have caused. But the 2 hours seperating glass was a blast.
